Two unhurried weeks in Svaneti

Two weeks, and nothing squeezed to fit. The trek to Ushguli with its two warm-up days, the Shkhara glacier, the Becho valley, two full cultural days, two nights at a mountain base camp with a fire and the stars, a free-choice hike picked with the guide by the weather and your legs, and a guided farewell morning in Mestia to close.

Fourteen days means every hard day has an easier one after it, and the free-choice day lets the trip answer the weather instead of fighting it. It is the version for people who would rather see Svaneti once, properly, than twice in summary. Six people, one guide, one car — that arithmetic sets the per-person price — with guesthouse beds, breakfast and dinner throughout.

Classic or Signature

Classic
€1,397
Family guesthouse, simple room, full board.
Signature
€2,341
Fourteen identical days in both versions; Signature changes what surrounds them. Signature guesthouses on every village night, a Svan supra evening, and an hour on horseback. Over two weeks the difference is cumulative — it is the same journey, carried more comfortably, with one evening that belongs to the table rather than the trail.

For people with time, who would rather see Svaneti once properly than twice in summary.

Dates are flexible — tell us yours and we build the departure around them. Solo travellers can join a group that is already forming.

Questions we hear before this trip

How big is the group?

Six people, one guide, one car — the per-person price is built on that arithmetic. If a party grows past six, we split it by activity and price each sub-group by its own rule.

Can I come alone?

Yes — dates are flexible, and a single traveller can join a departure that is already forming.

Is it activity every single day?

No — the rhythm alternates. The trek and the big walks sit early; the base camp nights, the two cultural days, the free-choice hike and the farewell morning give the second week a slower pulse. Fourteen days is what lets nothing be rushed.

What does the price include?

A local Svan guide with you each day, all travel inside the region in our own vehicles, and accommodation with breakfast and dinner.

What stays outside the price?

Flights, insurance, lunch on the mountain, and a room to yourself.
