Six days around Mestia without moving your base: the Chalaadi glacier, the day in Ushguli, the Koruldi Lakes, the Becho valley with Shdugra waterfall, a full cultural day, and a sixth day left deliberately open — a hike picked with the guide by the weather and your legs, from the Mestia valleys to the Zuruldi ridge or the Mulkhra villages.
That free-choice day is why we like this length. Five fixed days show you the region; the sixth lets the week answer for itself — more height if you are strong, villages if you are tired, the clearest valley if the weather argues. The group is six people with one guide and one car, and you have breakfast and dinner in Mestia every night.

The six days are the same in both versions. Signature adds premium guesthouses for the week, a Svan supra evening and an hour on horseback — the additions do not touch the walking, they change what the rooms and the evenings feel like after it. Classic carries the identical mountains for less.
Day by day
Day 1 · Chalaadi Glacier
Pine forest, the suspension bridge over the Mestiachala, the glacier tongue. Easy acclimatisation day; afternoon in Mestia - Svan towers and the museum.
Day 2 · Ushguli
4x4 up the Enguri gorge to Europe's highest inhabited village. Lamaria church, towers, Svan lunch, Shkhara viewpoint.
Day 3 · Koruldi Lakes
Alpine lakes at 2,700 m with the full Ushba panorama. The hardest day-hike near Mestia.
Day 4 · Becho valley
Shdugra waterfall, Georgia's most powerful, and the Ushba glacier viewpoint.
Day 5 · Cultural day
Towers, frescoed churches, a traditional Machubi house, museums, a Svan family table.
Day 6 · Guided day hike
A hike picked with the guide by weather and your legs - the Mestia valleys, the Zuruldi ridge or the Mulkhra villages.

Good to know
01What is the group size?+
Six people with one guide and one car — the per-person price is built on that. If a group grows past six, we split it by activity and price each sub-group by its own rule.
02I am travelling alone — can I join a group?+
Yes. A single traveller can join a departure that is already forming, and dates are flexible.
03How does the free-choice day work?+
Day six is picked with your guide by the weather and your legs — the Mestia valleys, the Zuruldi ridge or the Mulkhra villages. Nothing is fixed until the week has shown its weather.
04What is included?+
A local Svan guide each day, all travel inside the region in our own vehicles, and a room in Mestia with breakfast and dinner.
05What is not included?+
Flights, insurance, lunch on the mountain, and a room to yourself.
