That free-choice day is why we like this length. Five fixed days show you the region; the sixth lets the week answer for itself — more height if you are strong, villages if you are tired, the clearest valley if the weather argues. The group is six people with one guide and one car, and you have breakfast and dinner in Mestia every night.

Pine forest, the suspension bridge over the Mestiachala, the glacier tongue. Easy acclimatisation day; afternoon in Mestia - Svan towers and the museum.
4x4 up the Enguri gorge to Europe's highest inhabited village. Lamaria church, towers, Svan lunch, Shkhara viewpoint.
Alpine lakes at 2,700 m with the full Ushba panorama. The hardest day-hike near Mestia.

Questions we hear before this trip
What is the group size?
Six people with one guide and one car — the per-person price is built on that. If a group grows past six, we split it by activity and price each sub-group by its own rule.
I am travelling alone — can I join a group?
Yes. A single traveller can join a departure that is already forming, and dates are flexible.
How does the free-choice day work?
Day six is picked with your guide by the weather and your legs — the Mestia valleys, the Zuruldi ridge or the Mulkhra villages. Nothing is fixed until the week has shown its weather.
What is included?
A local Svan guide each day, all travel inside the region in our own vehicles, and a room in Mestia with breakfast and dinner.
