Five days that climb a staircase: two resort days at Hatsvali and Tetnuldi, two days of guided freeride, and then the first skin track — a jeep to the day's best snow, then 1,000 to 1,500 vertical metres of skinning, transceivers included, no lift and no pass. The touring day is written as a first taste, and it comes after four days of riding for a reason.

As with every winter package, the logistics sit inside the price: the Svan guide daily, lift passes on the days you use lifts, the Kutaisi airport group transfer both ways, our vehicles for everything inside the region, and half board in Mestia. Six people, one guide, one car — that is the arithmetic behind the per-person figure.

Classic or Signature

€1,260
Family guesthouse, simple room, full board.
Signature
€2,201
Signature keeps one guided freeride day and re-arms the rest: cat-skiing on Tetnuldi Alpine replaces the second freeride day, and the ski touring finale becomes a one-drop heliskiing day on an untouched face, with premium guesthouses all five nights. Choose Classic to try earning your snow on skins; choose Signature to have it delivered.

For skiers curious whether ski touring is for them, without betting the whole week on it.

Questions we hear before this trip

When does the season run?

Winter runs from 20 December to the end of April, and dates inside that window are flexible.

How big is the group?

Six people, one guide, one car — the per-person price stands on that. Larger groups are split by activity, each sub-group priced by its own rule.

Can I join as a solo traveller?

Yes — a single traveller can join a departure that is already forming.

Do I need ski touring experience?

No. The touring day is written as a first taste: a jeep takes you to the day's best snow, then it is 1,000 to 1,500 vertical metres of skinning, with transceivers included. It comes after four days of riding with the same guide.

What is included, and what is not?

Included: the Svan guide each day, lift passes on the days you ride lifts, the group transfer from Kutaisi airport and back, all travel inside the region in our own vehicles, and a room in Mestia with breakfast and dinner. Not included: flights, insurance, lunch on the mountain, a room to yourself — and the helicopter and snowcat unless the programme names them.
