Guided alpine climbs, glacier routes and skills courses in the Svaneti Caucasus — from an introduction on Tetnuldi to serious objectives around Ushba and Shkhara. From €80 per day with local mountain guides.
Svaneti holds some of Georgia’s biggest peaks: Ushba (4,710 m), Tetnuldi (4,858 m) and Shkhara (5,193 m). Programs range from a first roped glacier day to multi-day summit attempts, matched to your experience and the season.
Guides teach and lead: rope work, crampon and ice-axe technique, crevasse rescue and route finding. Objectives are set to your level and the conditions; technical gear can be supplied. High routes need mountaineering fitness and prior experience.

The region is ringed by serious peaks — Ushba (4,710 m), the 'Matterhorn of the Caucasus'; Tetnuldi (4,858 m); and Shkhara (5,193 m), the country's highest — plus countless alpine objectives for climbers of different levels. We guide ascents, glacier travel and skills days with certified local mountain guides who know these faces intimately.
