Overview

Ten minutes that reframe the whole valley.

Launch is on the slopes above Mestia; the pilot handles take-off, flight and landing while you ride tandem. Standard flights run 10–20 minutes depending on wind, with the Mestia towers, Chalaadi valley and high peaks below.

Flights depend on weather, so the pilot confirms the window on the day. GoPro footage of your flight is available. No skills or fitness required — just a willingness to run a few steps at launch.

Ski launch under the chairlift line — winter paragliding above Mestia

Tandem paragliding over Mestia

See Svaneti from the air. A tandem paragliding flight from the hills above Mestia lifts you over medieval stone towers, green valleys and, on a clear day, the giant white face of Mount Ushba. Strapped in with a certified pilot who handles everything, you simply take a few steps, lift off, and soar.

No experience is needed — flights suit almost anyone reasonably mobile, from first-timers to nervous flyers. Your pilot chooses the launch and timing for calm, safe conditions and can keep it gentle or add some dynamic turns if you like.

Good to know

Summer season, weather dependent — mornings are often calmest. Flights are a perfect add-on to a hiking trip or a Shdugra Waterfall day in the neighbouring Becho valley.
